TIGI – XMAS PACKAGING 2016
Our packaging designs for TIGI’s 2015 festive campaign ended up being the brands highest selling Christmas campaign of recent years. With that behind us we were delighted to work with them again this year on a different route, only this time paired with some equally eye-catching and sharable digital content. Taking inspiration from Bed Head’s more rebellious and spirited attitude, we decided to take Santa to the Tattoo parlour, and give traditional Christmas a total ‘inking’.
We collaborated with talented illustrator, Bobby Dance, to create a whole host of ‘bad ass’ characters and festive elements, all with a traditional tattooist twist. The end result was a completely non-traditional packaging treatment that captured the brand’s non-conformist vibe completely, without losing the warm and fuzzy stuff that everyone
loves at Christmas.
To coincide with the physical release of the Christmas Gift Sets, we illustrated and built a series of cute animations and ‘Meme’ artworks to be sent out over the brands social media accounts, and for participating salons to use too. Each of the animations brought the Christmassy-Tattoo characters to life, and and gave TIGI some simple, humorous branded content that was easily sharable.
