This Summer, Italian Cafe-Restaurant chain, Carluccio’s approached us with a view to creating a platform for them to promote their latest food and drink offers to customers.

The idea that we proposed became ‘Summer Pass’ – a digital ‘coupon’ that could be saved to your iPhone’s Passbook, or smartphone wallet, that updated automatically with new offers on a weekly basis throughout the Summer months.

The digital coupon could be downloaded online from a ‘Summer Pass’ landing page that we designed and built specially for the promotion, requiring users basic information and email.  We then remotely updated the digital pass with the latest offers each week from our server.

Users could then show their saved pass to restaurant staff and take advantage of a whole host of meal offers, as well as be entered into a number of competition draws.

It resulted in high numbers of customer participation, and Carluccio’s gained a large new bank of customer emails.
